INSECURITY IS HOT

Apparently having confidence is not so attractive. According to a recent scientific survey, people who identify themselves as insecure are better at getting dates. Why?

“Insecure individuals [present] themselves as warm, engaging, and humorous people,” said to Claudia Brumbaugh, a professor at Queens College and the leader of the research team. The self-confident may have these traits, too, but they’ll stop working so hard when their game’s not proving successful.

In short, insecure people try harder to be liked while confident people simply don’t give a fuck.

I don’t really buy this theory. If arrogance really turned panties dryer than the Sahara, how would you explain the entire cast of the Jersey Shore?
